The BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City is set to run from May 8th to May 17th, introducing almost two weeks of intense, competitive action at the highest tier of Rainbow Six esports.

- Eight teams compete in a double-elimination bracket, with four teams securing qualification to the Swiss Stage

- 16 teams compete in a Swiss format, with the top eight teams qualifying for the Playoffs

- Eight teams face off in a double-elimination bracket (best-of-three), culminating in a best-of-five grand final round
The BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City prize pool hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but hte most recent major toted a pool worth $750,000, with $250,000 being reserved for the winner, so we can assume a similar structure in Salt Lake City.
