Pokémon Champions is the new face of competitive VGC in the franchise, introducing a host of new players to the competition, and knowing the Speed tiers are vital for success.

While a host of different stats and approaches are valuable information for competing in Pokémon Champions, Speed will often be one of the most important Stats, as having a higher total will result in your Pokémon attacking first in the majority of situations.

If you’re unsure which Pokémon are among the fastest in Pokémon Champions and want more details, Insider Gaming has you covered.

The list of fastest Pokémon in Pokémon Champions is largely dominated by Mega Evolutions, with Mega Alakazam and Mega Aerodactyl sitting at the top of the pile.

Eight of the fastest 10 Pokémon in Pokémon Champions are Mega Evolutions, with the only exceptions being Dragapult, the fastest non-Mega Pokémon in the game, and Jolteon.

The likes of Talonflame, Weavile, Noivern, and Meowscarada also boast impressive Speed stats that can give an edge in battle, and are certainly worth considering in party composition.

How to Make Pokémon Faster in Pokémon Champions

Speed stats of Pokémon in Pokémon Champions can be boosted in a number of ways, though some will never be quick enough to rival those on the list of the fastest Pokémon.

Selecting a Nature that improves the Speed stat of a Pokémon, like Timid, Hasty, Jolly, and Naive, can provide a hefty boost, with the counter being lowering one of the other stats.

Additionally, items like a Choice Scarf are also worth utilizing, which boosts the holder’s Speed stat by 50%. However, the holder is locked into the move selected until it switches out of battle.

While it won’t boost the Speed of a Pokémon overall, using priority moves can push your Pokémon to the front of the queue when attacking, with the likes of Fake Out, Shadow Sneak, and Trick Room given an advantage.

Finally, while Trick Room won’t make your Pokémon faster, it will reverse the turn order for five turns, resulting in slower Pokémon attacking first.
