NetEase has released the patch notes for the Marvel Rivals Lower Manhattan update 20260402, which include fixes and other optimizations, as well as a new map.
After teasing it on the roadmap some time ago, Marvel Rival developers finally unveiled the new map yesterday with a brand-new trailer. Now, NetEase has also revealed all the other improvements it will be making in the Marvel Rivals April 2 update 20260402, which arrives at 09:00:00 (UTC).
What’s New in Marvel Rivals Lower Manhattan Update 20260402
Of course, the first new addition to the game is the Lower Manhattan map, where, following the arrival of Alchemax Headquarters in 2099, mass-produced, advanced-technology soldiers have spread like a plague. Moreover, there are new additions to the store for Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic. Also, issues affecting some heroes have been fixed, and optimizations have been made to features such as Chronal Catch-Up, Deadpool’s Director’s Cut, and Voice Changer across all platforms.

Fixes and Optimizations
Heroes
– Clint’s Kumiho Catch: Fixed an issue where Hawkeye’s Ultimate Ability might not deal damage to the afterimages created by White Fox’s Ultimate Ability form. Clint never misses his mark, especially against giant nine-tailed foxes.
– Angela’s Angelic Ascent: Addressed a rare issue where if Angela’s Assassin’s Charge was interrupted the moment it was cast, the dash effect might not disappear. The heavens have aligned, and her flight path is clear once more!
All Platforms
– Chronal Catch-Up: Fixed an issue where players still in battle during maintenance might temporarily be unable to enter battles normally after logging back in. The TVA has stabilized the timestream, so no more getting stuck in the Void between matches!
– Deadpool’s Director’s Cut: Fixed a visual bug in Match Highlights where Deadpool’s Role could be displayed incorrectly. Wade tried to hack the UI to mess with everyone, but we caught him red-handed!
– Voice Changer Optimization: Upgraded the in-game voice changer algorithms to provide a much more natural, fluid, and immersive experience.
