It’s claimed that the Resident Evil Code Veronica remake is being directed by the same team that helmed the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes.
Dusk Golem recently stated on Twitter that the forthcoming remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, originally released in 2000 on the Sega Dreamcast, is in the hands of an experienced team.
“Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake is being directed by Kazunori Kadoi & Yasuhiro Anpo, same duo who directed Resident Evil: 2 Remake & Resident Evil: 4 Remake,” he wrote.

Further Comments on Resident Evil Remakes
Dusk Golem would go on to respond to some tweets about how many teams are currently working on the Resident Evil series. He would say that teams are an outdated way of thinking when it comes to developing the franchise. According to him, there are fewer set teams and a more collaborative approach, depending on the job title of Capcom employees and those who work at support studios.
“Some people work on nearly every Resident Evil game, some people work on like every third RE game, some switch between RE & other games in dev. It really depends,” he wrote.
Resident Evil Requiem’s Current Success
Resident Evil Requiem is the fastest-selling game in the franchise. In its first month on the market, it became the best-selling game of the month and is one of the highest-rated games of the year so far.
Capcom is currently looking to capitalize on the success of Resident Evil 9. They’re also looking to partner with Universal Studios Japan on a unique RE experience. Learn more about that here.

Hopefully they don’t screw it like 4, 4 remake was terrible in comparison to original and shouldn’t have been touched.
