Epic Games is set for a major twist with Save the World in Fortnite, as the mode twists to free-to-play, and free rewards are being distributed for those who pre-register in Community Goals.
Save the World was the original mode for Fortnite before the game twisted into the Battle Royale behemoth that it is today. However, while all of the rest of the Epic Games modes have been available for free, Save the World has been locked behind a purchase.
That’s all due to end next month, however, and Insider Gaming has all the details on the rewards that are available.
How to Register For Fortnite Save The World

Save The World in Fortnite will be available for all players at no additional cost from April 16, and registration sign-ups are now available.
Players who sign up to pre-register for Save the World’s free-to-play debut will earn in-game rewards themed specifically to the mode. The rewards may be exclusive too, so don’t miss out.

Once the goals for the Banner and Spray are met, they will be sent out immediately. However, the final reward, the Snowstrike hero, will depend on your in-game status.

Existing Save the World players will receive the Snowstrike Hero before the April 16 free-to-play launch. New players, however, will have to wait until the launch date, as the in-game tutorial needs to be completed first.
