Nongshim RedForce and NRG Clinch Upper Final Berths at Valorant Masters Santiago

Nongshim RedForce defeated G2 2-1 in a thrilling series, while NRG ground out a close 2-0 win against Paper Rex to join the Pacific roster, to set up an Upper Final clash at Valorant Masters Santiago.

The Pacific Kickoff winners outlasted G2 in a 7-13, 13-7, 14-12 victory on Abyss, Corrode, and Split. NRG and Paper Rex’s clash of styles ended with a 14-12, 13-11 victory for NRG on Pearl and Bind.

Will G2 and PRX meet again at Valorant Masters Santiago?

The results mean that Nongshim RedForce will face Valorant Champions 2025 winners NRG in the Upper Final, while G2 and Paper Rex will have to recover in the Lower Bracket.

G2 will face EMEA Kickoff winners BBL, while Paper Rex will play China Kickoff champs All Gamers. Neither match will be straightforward for the VCT titans.

BBL have proven that their aggressive style is a risk to any opposition, both throughout EMEA Kickoff, where they defeated Fnatic and Vitality amongst others, and in this event, where they eliminated a powerful FURIA roster.

All Gamers can boast the elimination of Gentle Mates following a 2-1 victory in the Lower Bracket. Both All Gamers and BBL are fighting to keep their regions alive in the competition, with Gentle Mates and Liquid out for EMEA, and XLG and EDward going 0-2 in the Swiss Stage.

If both G2 and Paper Rex progress, they will reignite their rivalry, this time in a clash for survival, having met in the opening match of the Swiss Stage, where Paper Rex comfortably defeated G2 13-9, 13-5.

Valorant Masters Santiago schedule:
