NYT Connections, the beloved daily puzzle game, hits a monumental milestone tomorrow, March 7. It will be the 1,000th puzzle the company has produced for the millions of players worldwide, and it comes hand-in-hand with an exclusive reward and social campaign.
While we don’t know what the puzzle will entail (check back later for that), we know that it’s a huge accolade for any daily game to hit. The likes of Wordle have far surpassed the 1,000 mark, but NYT Connections is a younger game.

What Do You Get For The 1,000th NY Connections?
When you complete NYT Connections #1000 tomorrow, you’ll unlock an exclusive badge, forever tied to your account, that recognizes you as one of the game’s dedicated players. Of course, it could be your first NYT Connections puzzle, and you’d still get the badge, but the team has accounted for that.
Anyone who gets 1,000 Connections completions at any point will receive another exclusive badge. If you’ve been there consistently since the beginning of NYT Connections, the first puzzle for which launched in June 2023, tomorrow will be the first opportunity you have to unlock the 1,000 Connections badge.

To celebrate the 1,000 NYT Connections milestone, New York-based Matchaful sites have assembled a unique layered beverage themed around NYT Connections. The drink contains all the colors you’d associate with the game, and while it has been running since March 2, tomorrow is the last day you can snap up one of the drinks.
If you head to Matchaful on Prince Street tomorrow between 8 AM and 11 AM, you can win exclusive prizes, such as special pajama sets and keepsakes. It all depends on how big an NYT Connections fan you are!
