New Battlefield 6 Map Leaked Ahead of Season 2 Reveal

A new leak on Reddit has revealed the new map coming to the second season of Battlefield 6. Today, January 21, 2026, was supposed to be the day that the second season of Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC kicked off. However, EA delayed the start of the season until mid-February as they wanted some time to polish the content for the next drop.

Reddit user ConsistentFact9170 uploaded a video to the Battlefield subreddit, which appears to be a leak of the presentation for the second season of Battlefield. In the video, a spotlight is placed on Hagental Airbase in Bravia being seized, heavily suggesting that it will be one of the maps in the game. The trailer shows NATO forces arming themselves, while a voiceover warns that the base must be reclaimed by any means necessary or the war will be lost.

While the comments on the post claim a second map will be part of the season, the trailer leak solely focused on Hagental. The comments also indicate some disappointment with the reveal.

Where Battlefield 6 Currently Stands

As a gesture of goodwill to the player base, EA announced that a Frostfire Bonus Path would launch alongside the season 1 battle pass on January 27. This path will include customization rewards along with XP boosts. Some rewards will be free, including a Hardware XP Boost, a Vehicle Skin, and player card customization items.

There will be extra paid rewards for those who purchase the season 1 Battle Pass. Fans can learn more about the Frostfire Bonus Path here.
