It is that time of the month again when we look at video game sales data, and it seems that Battlefield 6 has retained its spot as the best-selling title year to date for 2025.
The latest stats on video game sales were delivered by Mat Piscatella, Senior Director & Video Game Industry Thought Leader at Circana, on BlueSky. Battlefield 6 has maintained its number 1 position since its October release, and there’s a chance it could remain there when the year ends as well.
Apart from Battlefield 6, the top 5 best-selling year-to-date titles are as follows: NBA 2K26, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Borderlands 4, and EA Sports College Football 25. There was only one new release in November 2025, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and the latest FPS title has taken the seventh spot on the best-selling list. The reporting period is from January 5, 2025, to November 1, 2025.
