Crafting the Delta Old-Fashioned Donut requires using eight Hyper Berries, though specific ingredients are needed to yield the correct results.
Due to specific berries being needed, it’s worth saving your Hyper Berries until all the special recipes have been boxed off, as there are several Pokémon that have set summoning requirements. However, the side mission to face-off against and capture Rayquaza is only available once the main story in the Mega Dimension DLC has been completed.
The recipe to create a Delta Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A to access Rayquaza is shown below.
- 4x Hyper Colbur Berry
- 2x Hyper Haban Berry
- 1x Hyper Roseli Berry
- 1x Hyper Chilan Berry
If you don’t have enough of the Hyper Berries listed above, head back into any Hyperspace Dimension portal and focus on destroying the floating Pokéballs, especially the Golden Pokéballs that appear when the specified tasks in each area have been boxed off.
However, the distribution of Hyper Berries is random, so it make take several attempts to receive the specific Hyper Berries you need for the recipe.

The Delta Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A must be used in a specific spot to open the portal that leads you directly to Mega Rayquaza.
Once the donut has been crafted, head to the rooftop of Hotel Z and speak to Korrina, fortunately, this location is extremely easy to reach, as you need to use the elevator inside Hotel Z and select the roof as your destination. If you’ve just crafted the donut, it’s only a few steps away.
Korrina tells you to feed the Delta Old-Fashioned Donut to Hoopa, opening a direct portal to Mega Rayquaza for you to face-off against in battle and capture.
