How to Make The Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut in requies eight Hyper Berries to craft, but the process is not random. Instead, there are a select few specific Hyper Berries in the recipe.
It’s worth saving any Hyper Berries you collect to make specific Donuts in the Mega Dimension DLC, as there are several Pokémon that have set summoning requirements, with Kyogre among them. However, the side mission to face-off and capture Kyogre is only available in the post-game.
The ingredients to make the Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut in the Mega Dimension DLC are shown below.
- 2x Hyper Babiri Berry
- 1x Hyper Colbur Berry
- 1x Hyper Haban Berry
- 3x Hyper Payapa Berry
- 1x Hyper Coba Berry
If you find yourself encountering a shortage of the required Hyper Berries, head to any Hyperspace Dimension portal and focus on destroying the floating Pokéballs, particularly the Golden Pokéballs that appear once all the tasks in the area have been ticked off.
Unfortunately,the distribution of Hyper Berries is random, so it may take a while to find the specific Berries you require.
How to Use The Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A must be used in a specific spot to open a portal directly to Primal Kyogre.
Once the donut has been crafted, fast travel to Wild Zone 5 and locate the portal inside, which will be marked with a rainbow Mega Evolution symbol and five yellow stars. The specific spot is past the piles of sludge that must be cleared using a Water-type move, along the route taken to reach the Alpha Whirlipede.
When you approach the portal, Korrina tells you to feed Hoopa the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut. Once done, head inside and commence the battle against Primal Kyogre to complete this side mission.
