Donut-crafting in Mega Dimension is a key part of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A DLC, with mechanics similar to Sandwiches in Scarlet & Violet, providing various types of boosts, including higher capture power and Shiny luck.
Some specific donuts are required at certain points, however, and Insider Gaming has all the details on create the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut to face-off against Primal Groudon.
How to Make The Omega Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Omega Old-Fashioned Donut requires eight berries to craft, all of which must be Hyper, and the side mission for Groudon is only accessible once the main story has been completed.
Several special donuts are required at several stages of the Mega Dimension DLC in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, so it’s worth saving your Hyper Berries to craft them, rather than using them to craft random donuts for exploration. Once you’ve boxed off all the special donuts, then you can start using them more.

If you’re short on berries, head to any Hyperspace Dimension portal and focus on destroying the floating Pokéballs, specifically the Golden Pokéballs once you have ticked off all the tasks specified in the area.
How to Use The Omega Old-Fashioned Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Omega Old-Fashioned Donut must be used in a specific spot in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as it opens a portal directly to Primal Groudon.
Once crafted, head to Jaune Sector 11 to find the location of the side mission, A Ruby-Red Legend. The nearest fast travel point is Cage Bataille, located in Wild Zone 6, just a short walk from where Korrina is waiting.
When you approach the location of the portal, Korrina will tell you to feed Hoopa the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut. Once that’s done, head inside and commence the battle with the Legendary Hoenn Pokémon.
