Exodus Gets Early 2027 Release, New Trailer at The Game Awards

Afters eons of waiting, Exodus has secured a release window: early 2027. The announcement was made at The Game Awards with a brand new trailer for the Mass Effect-inspired shooter.

First announced at The Game Awards 2023, Exodus has all the makings of a Mass Effect (including BioWare alum), minus the name. The game follows a group of Travelers who can travel through time within the Omega Centauri star cluster. With cool visuals and Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, many already have the game on their watch lists. Finally, after many teases, including gameplay, players can set their course to 2027 for Exodus’ release.

This article is currently in development and will be updated once more information is available.

Exodus Releasing in Early 2027, Debuts New Trailer

The trailer, which premiered during The Game Awards, showed off some impressive gameplay. In the video, new gameplay and combat is shown, including some crazy visuals. At the end, the release window for Exodus was finally revealed: early 2027. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

With going to 2027, it does avoid some highly anticipated 2026 titles like Grand Theft Auto 6 and Resident Evil Requiem. Fortunately, for those who are anxious for more space, a new Mass Effect is still in the works in addition to a TV show from Amazon. Fortunately, if the new trailer is anything to go by, it’s sure to be one to check out, should the stars align.
