PlayStation has revealed the most downloaded games across its various platforms for September 2025. The games are broken down by platform—PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), PS VR 2, and Free to Play—as well as by region.
Leading the way on the PS5 were two sports games. In the United States and Canada, NBA 2K26 was number one followed by Borderlands 4. EA Sports FC 26, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Madden NFL 26 rounded out the top five.
In Europe, EA Sports FC 26 led the way with Hollow Knight: Silksong coming in second. Taking spots 3-5 were Borderlands 4, NBA 2K26, and Dying Light: The Beast.
