Nintendo has announced Mario Tennis Fever during its latest Nintendo Direct, which launches for the Nintendo Switch 2 on February 12, 2025.
During the Nintendo Direct, it was announced that pre-orders for Mario Tennis Fever will be available from today on the Nintendo eShop. You can watch the official Mario Tennis Fever trailer below:
Just like its predecessor, Mario Tennis Fever is a tennis-themed Mario game with several different game modes.
Game modes include:
- Tournament mode
- Trial Towers mode
- Mix It Up Mode
- Swing Mode
In addition to the single-player modes, there will also be two multiplayer modes called Online Room and Ranked Matches.
But that’s not all, Mario Tennis Fever will also feature an ‘Adventure Mode’, where Mario and his friends are transformed into babies without knowledge of tennis. Throughout the mode, Mario and his friends will need to re-learn tennis.
