Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Flea Locations—How to Complete The Lost Fleas Wish

The lost fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong are a side objective that will have you diving into every corner to find these fuzzy bugs and return them to the flea caravan.

While there are dozens of these creatures scattered throughout the entire game, you only need to find five missing fleas to complete The Lost Fleas wish, which will also allow you to skip a challenging boss fight.

Here is where you can find five lost fleas in the early going of Hollow Knight: Silksong.

As mentioned above, there are a lot more fleas in Hollow Knight: Silksong than the ones we will be revealing below. While you can choose to grab them at any time, we recommend finding these five after you enter Greymoor for the first time. Doing so will let you skip the Moorwing fight, which is challenging because of how much health it has and how monotonous the fight gets.

To get this side quest started, you can claim it from the mission board in Bone Bottom and then talk to Fleamaster Mooshka in The Marrow. His location is a blue button flea. Starting the quest will let you keep track of your progress, but you can find these fleas without starting the quest.

The Marrow

The first Hollow Knight: Silksong lost flea can be found in The Marrow. If you are at the flea caravan, work your way upwards until you reach the room of our marker in the image above. To reach the flea, you will need to go left and platform above some spike traps with some flying enemies.

If you have the Volatile Flintbeetles quest active, one of those explosive enemies will be in the ceiling at the top here, so be careful not to hit them unless you want to take on that fight now. Drop down and to the right to find a flea tangled up in some vines.

Deep Docks

There are two lost fleas in the Deep Docks section. The first can be found behind a secret path found in the bellway station for this area. Move to the left, and there is a destructible wall you can jump and hit.

When inside, all you have to do is platform your way past some intermittent lava falls and a couple of flying enemies. The little guy is taking a quick snooze in this truly relaxing location.

The second Deep Docks flea is at the upper portion of the map in the same room as the shrine that gives you the Swift Step ability. From that shrine, dash and jump up the platforms to the left to find this flea trapped in a rock.

Far Fields

The Far Fields flea can be found after you obtain the Drifter’s Cloak and start to leave this area. As you head up, you will hit a closed-off section that requires you to go around and to the right to open it up. To get the flea, instead, go left.

In this section, work your way down until you find a dark hallway off to the right. Be warned, as you get far enough in here, a cage will pop up and trap you as an ant enemy appears. Just break the cage and dispatch the ant, then the flea can be found in another cage at the end of the hallway.

Hunter’s Marsh

The last flea for the Lost Fleas wish quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong is found in a particular section of the Hunter’s Marsh. For the best route, return to The Marrow and enter Hunter’s Marsh from the top-right entrance, right above the jail room.

Be warned, going this way will require you to defeat a mini-boss ant. He is big, and his strikes will constantly take two masks away from your health, but he only has two attacks he dishes out at you. We highly recommend doing this fight after you have the Swift Step ability because we did it without it, and trying to read his moves was a lot of guessing and getting lucky. With Swift Step, you should be able to dodge his attacks much more easily.

When you are in Hunter’s March, move along until you start seeing red flowers. You need to jump and down strike attack these to bounce off of them and work your way upwards. When you reach a fork in your ascent, take the left route. The flea is sitting in a cage at the top.

Bringing the Hollow Knight: Silksong Lost Fleas to the Fleamaster

After you have your five fleas, return to the flea caravan in The Marrow. Talk to Mooshka, and he will ask if you want to ride with them. Say yes to be transported to Greymoor, most notably, in the same spot where the Moorwing fight happens.

Apparently, giant flies are terrified of flea caravans because the boss doesn’t appear here when you do this, though we are not sure if it appears in a different location.

After you regain control, talk to the flea to the left of Mooshka to be given the Flea Brew tool, which will boost your speed and attack momentarily.

Now your Lost Fleas wish will be complete, but the caravan will remain here until you return five more fleas to it. At that point, it will travel to a new location, and you can continue the process.

Did this guide help you avoid the Moorwing fight? We were having a lot of issues ourselves with the fight until we did this quest. Let us know in the comments or on the Insider Gaming forum how much you hate that boss.

If you are looking for a little protection while healing, we recommend finding the Warding Bell. Also, did you know that PC players looking for a more forgiving experience can find some great mods for Silksong?
