I have never properly played a Gears of War title. This is why I’m one of the most excited gamers on the planet where Gears of War: Reloaded is concerned. As a lifelong PlayStation (and somewhat of a Nintendo) gamer, Reloaded is the perfect present for absentees like me. It’s also going to be a special reunion for many of you who played it when it originally came out.
It boasts the full campaign and dedicated multiplayer, and its release date can’t come soon enough.
When is Gears of War: Reloaded Coming Out?
August 26 is the official launch date for Gears of War: Reloaded on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Fingers crossed there are no delays for this! I’m eager to see what the fuss is all about and start racking up my own list of Locust kills. Whereas Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was a glossy remaster, Reloaded is a fully fledged remake with a next level of polish and precision in play.
The package features everything: All single-player content, DLC, multiplayer, co-op, crossplay, and the usual slew of modern-day graphical enhancements such as 4K HDR, 120 FPS, and VRR.
If you didn’t get a chance to play either of Reloaded’s betas, don’t worry, it’s not long until the game’s full launch.

Even as someone who hasn’t played it, I understand this is a ‘Stock the fridge with Mountain Dew and get the Doritos in’ type of deal for many.
