Preloading Mafia: The Old Country is as easy as pre-purchasing a digital copy of the game (physical doesn’t count), checking the storefront where you bought the game, and hitting download to save the files to your platform.
This is a digital-download-only incentive, unfortunately. If you’re going physical, you must wait until your copy turns up and download the full game, and sit patiently (more than likely impatiently) waiting for it to happen.

The Xbox file size is out in the public domain. We’ve also known about Mafia: The Old Country’s specs for a while, showing that you need 55GB of storage. As of writing, I’ve yet to spy the PS5 game file size. However, PlayStation and Xbox are usually quite similar when it comes to game file sizes, so I’d expect the PS5 to be in the region of 40GB to 50GB.
