Fortnite has confirmed that two new game modes are coming for Blitz Royale, including the 6-player squad mode.
We had an idea that Fortnite was working on a ‘6-player’ squad mode through a leak from earlier this month, but we weren’t aware that it would be exclusive to the Blitz Royale mode. Fortnite has been working hard on the Blitz Royale mode recently, with recent claims stating that the game mode has been extended to 2027.
Fortnite’s Blitz Royale is Getting Two New Game Modes
Details about the 6-player squad mode and the other new mode for Blitz Royale were shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by the official Fortnite account. Fortnite posted yesterday that Blitz Royale is getting Unlimited Kamehameha mythics for 1 hour on August 2, after the Super Showdown story event. In the same thread, Fortnite revealed that two new modes will be introduced for Blitz Royale, including Six Stack and Pure Chaos.
Six Stack is the 6-player squad for Fortnite, where players can form larger parties for bigger team battles. Pure Chaos, on the other hand, is made for the swears, where players will find “more siphon and higher-skilled opponents”. Some players in the comment section have asked why the Six Stack mode is not available for standard Battle Royale and Zero Build.
In other news, Fortnite’s mud system is expected to return in Chapter 6 Season 4, according to a new claim. Also, the latest collaboration has brought the Fantastic 4: First Steps characters to Fortnite Island. What are your thoughts on Fortnite getting a 6-player squad mode for Blitz Royale?
