Fortnite Blitz Royale is Getting a New Map

Fortnite’s beloved 32-player mode, Blitz Royale, has been extended for another month, and a new map has been revealed too.

Fortnite’s Mega City is Coming to Blitz Royale

Fortnite’s latest post on X reveals that the Blitz Royale mode will be available for an additional four weeks. Players should look forward to new loot drops, map updates and other surprise collaborations. Moreover, the developers have confirmed that Chapter 4: Season 2’s highly popular Mega City will be included in the new game mode. Mega City feels like a futuristic version of Tokyo, filled with neon lights, skyscrapers, and grind rails for you to ride on.

At the moment, it is hard to tell what kind of loot, content, and collaboration are coming to Fortnite Blitz Royale, but we do have some idea. Reliable Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, revealed what collaborations we should expect for this game mode, and anime and gaming fans are going to be happy. It seems that Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen and Mortal Kombat are the expected collaborations for the next four weeks. However, players should take this information with a grain of salt, as it is not an official announcement.

For those wondering, Fortnite Blitz Royale is a new game mode introduced last month, featuring 32 players on a smaller map. Players begin with random Medallions and unique weapons, and they must increase their level by eliminating other players and surviving storm circles. As your level increases, you get more powerful weapons and power-ups. There are also Golden Chests and Golden Supply Drops across the map, which you can open for more power-ups and medallions.

In other news, Call of Duty might be getting a footstep audio indicator similar to Fortnite. Also, a cheater is required to pay $175,000 to Epic Games. What are your thoughts on Fortnite Blitz Royale’s new map? Let us know through the official Insider Gaming forums discussion.
