Steel Balalaika is back with its new game—Broken Arrow. It features a diverse blend of RTS gameplay across single-player and multiplayer, and is a war dream for many. PC players are happy, so let’s see if the same can be said for hopeful Broken Arrows players on console.
Broken Arrow features two bulky components—single-player and multiplayer. The campaign is broken up into 19 deep missions for you to lose a lot of hours to. However, once this appetizer is done and dusted, the multiplayer awaits with epic 5v5 encounters and Skirmishes. There was a lot of hype for Broken Arrow pre-launch, as mainstream RTS games are few and far between.
Today, I’ll clear up any confusion regarding Broken Arrow’s status on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as its PC port is already established.
Can You Play Broken Arrow on PS5?

Broken Arrow currently doesn’t have a PlayStation 5 port, and it’s unclear if a PS5 version is on the cards.
I always hate having to break news like this. The reality is that Broken Arrow is unavailable to PS5 players. I’ve also done some digging on the game’s main Discord server, and PlayStation mentions are also absent. It’s not short of users asking the same console question, though, so you’re not alone in that respect.
Broken Arrow’s extensive online multiplayer makes it a perfect fit for multi-platform battles. For now, we can disregard the notion of crossplay until a PS5 port is announced.
If this is the case, we’ll update the guide and let you know.
Can You Play Broken Arrow on Xbox Series X|S?
Steel Balalaika’s Broken Arrow is also not available for Xbox Series X|S users.
All console players have to miss out on Broken Arrow. The initial reveal trailer in 2021 finishes by saying: “Coming soon to PC.”
While it wasn’t quite as soon as some may have hoped, it did arrive on PC. However, it’s just PC, and nothing else. To summarize, Broken Arrow isn’t on any PlayStation platform (past or current gen) or Xbox. Broken Arrow is breaking dreams, so you’ll have to get your RTS fix elsewhere for the time being.
The system requirements for Broken Arrow aren’t too strenuous. So, any half-decent gaming PC setup should be compatible. Have you seen anything different to suggest a console port is in the works?
