Rematch will be released on June 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam; however, players will not have access to crossplay during launch.
Rematch is an upcoming multiplayer, PvP, soccer-based video game that lets players control a single character in a third-person camera. It features skill-based gameplay, where players can replicate iconic football moves while taking on other teams. However, without crossplay in Rematch, the players will be restricted to their platforms when competing online.
Rematch Crossplay Remains a Top Priority

Through a post on their official X account (formerly Twitter), Rematch confirmed that Steam, PlayStation and Xbox players will not be able to compete against each other at launch, as crossplay is not available on June 19. However, it is one of Sloclap’s “top priorities right now”, and they will “share an ETA as soon as possible”.
During their beta announcement last month, Sloclap confirmed that Rematch will prioritise the feature for the game’s full release. However, if that weren’t possible, players would receive this feature shortly after launch.
Rematch Improves Rainbow Flick and Mouse and Keyboard Features in New Patch
Rematch also received a new patch today, focusing on the Rainbow Flick, Mouse and Keyboard tap, and Mouse and Keyboard remapping. After the feedback in the second beta, the developers reverted the modifications they made to the Rainbow Flick. The Rainbow Flick now feels as fast and fluid as it did in the first beta. However, some balancing changes to chained flicks have remained.
The mouse and keyboard tap system has received many bug fixes, and its overall feel has improved with the new tap aiming system. This will allow players to aim 360 degrees around the character without it being “sticky” in some directions. Mouse and keyboard remapping has been added, too. You can check out how to remap and all the other bug fixes here.
