Strange Tekken Player Throws Toilet Paper at Esports Tournament Staff

That’s a title I didn’t think I’d be writing today, but here we are.

Recently, at CEO 2025 in Orlando, a bizarre competitor took to the stage during the Tekken World Tour portion of the event. The player, dubbed ‘Joe Budden’, was wearing a unique outfit that was a clear take on Marvel’s Dr Doom.

He didn’t utter a word throughout his appearance, but wiped one of the best players in the world and suggested he was ‘Ultra Soft’, thanks to the assistance of a pack of Charmin toilet paper.

That’s where the weirdness began.

What a Twist

After Joe Budden (the player’s alias) beat Bilal, one of the best pro FGC players in the world, he simply stared down his foe and produced a multi-pack of Charmin toilet paper from his backpack. He then thrust the toilet paper at the camera and pointed to the words ‘Ultra Soft’ on the packaging.

It was a lighthearted thing that left the commentators slightly flummoxed, and Joe Budden left the stage, leaving Bilal to writhe from one of the strangest losses of his prestigious career.

It didn’t end there, though.

According to tournament staffer and commentator Mark Julio, Joe Buddin ran backstage after the win and proceeded to throw rolls of Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper at him and Spooky, another commentator.

Nobody can explain why he did it, but as he was ‘trespassing’ in an area he wasn’t allowed to enter and portraying some strange behaviour, Joe Budden was promptly disqualified from the tournament.

He came, he won, and he was kicked out of the tournament for hurling TP at people. That’s otherwise known as a ‘fairly normal day’ in the FGC.
