With so many platforms to choose from, is FBC: Firebreak coming to your preferred system?
FBC: Firebreak is a first-person, three-player cooperative shooter set in Remedy Entertainment’s Control universe. Teams are tasked with restoring order in the Federal Bureau of Control after strange, otherworldly enemies overran it. There are several different classes to choose from, alongside a wide array of specialized weapons and gadgets.
This is Remedy Entertainment’s first self-published title and diverges from the studio’s usual single-player formula. Looking back at its other projects, Quantum Break and Crossfire X were Xbox exclusives; however, the rest of Remedy Entertainment’s catalog has been available on various platforms. With that in mind, let’s take a look at where you can play FBC: Firebreak.
Can You Play FBC: Firebreak on PS5?

FBC: Outbreak is on PlayStation 5, but the game will not be available on PlayStation 4.
Sony did not reveal if the game has been optimized for PS5 Pro. The PlayStation Store listing also doesn’t detail any performance metrics for the base PS5 or provide any other console-specific information, such as the storage space required by the game.
Can You Play FBC: Firebreak on Xbox Series X|S?
FBC: Firebreak is also available on Xbox Series X|S, but once again, it is not on Xbox One.
On the Xbox Store, Microsoft confirmed that the game has been optimized for Xbox Series X|S. On top of that, the store listing also confirms HDR10, variable refresh rate, Xbox cross-platform co-op, 60 frames per second or better for performance, and console keyboard and mouse compatibility.
Can You Play FBC: Firebreak on PC?
PC users can also play FBC: Firebreak via Steam.
The Steam version of FBC: Firebreak supports Xbox and DualSense controllers. The Steam listing also revealed all of the minimum and recommended system requirements. For users who want to play the game on the go, it is confirmed to run on the Steam Deck. How well remains to be seen, but it’s a nice option to have.
In other console news, Xbox Game Pass may be getting another price increase soon, PlayStation Plus will continue to adjust its prices to “maximize” profitability, and only PlayStation will offer physical discs for upcoming Xbox games.
