It’s been just about a week since Xbox unveiled the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X to the world, and, now, a known leaker is claiming to have information on the handheld console’s release date and price.
According to extas1s, the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X will launch sometime in October. Preorders, he claims, will begin in August.
As far as the device’s price goes, extas1s says that the Xbox Ally X will retail for €899 while the lower-powered Xbox Ally will cost €599. He says that he confirmed the pricing with two European retailers. For United States pricing, that information he couldn’t get concrete info about.

Xbox has yet to official announce a release date or price for the Xbox Ally or Xbox Ally X. Nor have they responded to Insider Gaming’s request for comment on the claims. With that in mind, please take all of the above information with a grain of salt. While normally reliable with Xbox Game Pass information, the source has been somewhat hit or miss with various leaks in recent memory.
