We’ve known about Cronos: The New Dawn for a while now. The survival-horror game was announced in 2024, and it looks like it only needs a year to release, as a Fall 2025 window is out in the open.
Bloober Team had a whirlwind 2024 with the release of the Silent Hill 2 Remake. The company is renowned for making elite-level, hide-behind-the-couch horror experiences. Now, Cronos: The New Dawn looks to take things to the next level in 2025.
Bloober Team’s Cronos: The New Dawn Launches Fall 2025
The “Survive the Nest” trailer graced the Xbox Games 2025 Showcase. It added a gritty and visceral nature to the presentation, and alongside wince-worthy action, we learned of its Fall 2025 release window.
To be more precise, expect Cronos: The New Dawn from September onward—but more realistically in mid-to-late October to coincide with spooky season!
Although it was shown during the Xbox Showcase, don’t be worried if you’re on other platforms. The PlayStation 5 and PC are other platforms set to receive the survival-horror title. You’ll follow the Traveler, and you certainly won’t be alone.
Here’s the full trailer, but we warned, it isn’t pretty!
