The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 is set to take place on June 8.
This is two days after the main Summer Game Fest show. Despite Xbox’s lack of appeal compared to recent years, this is still going to be one of the biggest showcases. Phil Spencer has said there will be a lot of emphasis on multi-platform titles, so there’s plenty of reason to tune in.

The 2025 showcase is expected to be between 60-90 minutes.
Given that the Xbox Games Showcase is followed immediately by The Outer Worlds 2 Direct, it would make sense for the show not to exceed an hour and a half. But based on previous Xbox Showcase events, expect the show to last around this long.
What to Expect at Xbox Games Showcase 2025
We’re, hopefully, going to see some cool Xbox surprises and new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass during the presentation.
The era of console exclusives (outside of Nintendo) feels like it’s coming to an end. There was a time when you thought it was impossible to play Xbox’s biggest franchises on PlayStation. But Forza Horizon 5 is on PS5, and Gears of War: Reloaded is also jumping ship to PlayStation.
So, we’ll have to wait and see what Microsoft has in store for the gaming community. Microsoft is testing Steam integration, so we could see more on this groundbreaking feature.
