High On Life 2 has been officially announced at the Xbox Showcase as part of Summer Games Fest, with a release slated for later this year.
A sequel to 2022’s first game, the announce trailer for High On Life 2 featured everything you’d expect from the series, with talking weapons and plenty of gore.
Once again coming from the team at Squanch Games, which was founded by Rick & Morty co-creator and former voice actor Justin Rolland, High On Life 2 will release “this winter.”
No exact release date was slated, with the release window instead being rather broad, but further details will follow in the months ahead as we edge closer to winter.

Not an Xbox Exclusive
Although High On Life 2 will be available day on on the Xbox Game Pass service, the title is not restricted to just Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
Instead, the reveal confirmed that a PlayStation 5 release is also on the horizon, although there was no news about a potential Nintendo Switch 2 release.
Further details on a release date and gameplay are expected later in the year, so keep your eyes on Insider Gaming for all the latest.
