Super Meat Boy 3D will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox in 2026.
Super Meat Boy 3D received a brand new trailer at Xbox Games Showcase, showcasing the new narrative and gameplay players can expect. There are brand new stages, deadly obstacles to overcome, and blood to be splattered. Check out the latest trailer below.
Of course, with Super Meat Boy 3D, players now have a brand new 3D perspective; gone are the days of a 2D platformer. Players will be able to explore a variety of levels with diverse gameplay mechanics. In Super Meat Boy 3D, players can jump, run, and dash in any direction, leaving a long blood trail along the way. There are different ways to move through these levels, with wall running and jumping being the focus of the new trailer.
With the new perspective, we get some deadly new obstacles too. The world is filled with blades, spikes and all things sharp that are bound to hurt, and it will only take a second to slice Meatboy in half. Players also got to see a new ability in action, where a horde of Meatboys was seen rushing through the level.
In other news, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s “The Order of the Giants’ DLC was announced at Xbox Games Showcase. Additionally, High on Life 2 was revealed at the same event.
