F1 25 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but does the game support crossplay?
The 2025 F1 season started on March 14, which means it’s also time for a new entry in the F1 race-sim franchise. The latest series entry, F1 25, makes a few notable improvements.
Mt Team received a massive overhaul and introduced new Owner Perks that allow you to specialize in your preferred areas of team management. Meanwhile, in Career Mode, you will encounter legendary drivers in modern cars. Breaking Point 3 continues the narrative storyline following the Konnersport team, and there are five more courses to try out. Let’s examine whether you can take advantage of these new features with friends.
Is F1 25 Crossplay?

F1 25 supports cross-platform play, meaning players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S can play with or against each other online.
New to F1 25, Invitationals is a new mode in F1 World that features special multiplayer events. Once you have one available, players can share the event with friends and work together to complete the objective and earn rewards.
Some Invitationals will be more challenging than others, and rewards are based on the difficulty of the event. Codemasters also updated the Driver of the Day system, highlighting achievements such as the cleanest driver and most overtakes so players can have bragging rights over their friends.
F1 25 also features a co-op Career Mode, which allows you and your friend to race together on the same F1 team. It’s up to both players to work together and secure a Constructors’ Championship, which is determined by how well each team member finishes throughout the season.
But at the end of the day, only one racer can become the Drivers’ Champion, so while you are on the same team, it’s ultimately every racer for themselves.
Does F1 25 Have Split-Screen?
F1 25 supports split-screen from the same console, but has a few limitations.
In split-screen mode, two players can race against each other on the same screen. In saying that, there is no Career Mode progression, and split-screen mode might cause a drop in frame rate or performance on PC.
