F1 25 is right around the hairpin, and it won’t be much longer until you’re screeching round the track, as the release date is nearly upon us.
The long-running series is seeing big changes in F1 25, including a huge overhaul to the popular My Team mode and the third entry in the Braking Point series.
If you can’t wait to jump into the cockpit, we’ve got the full details of the F1 25 release date and the exact times it’s playable.
F1 25 Release Date

F1 25 has an official release date of May 30, but those who purchase the Iconic Edition can play the full game from May 27.
The release falls in the standard period for F1 games and lands in the midst of the Formula 1 season, arriving just a few days before the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
F1 25 is the sixth game published by Codemasters following the $1.2 billion takeover by EA in 2021.
F1 25 Start Times
There is a global release for F1 25, meaning it becomes available to players across the world at the same moment, regardless of time zone. This means those in New Zealand, for example, won’t be able to play first like is the case with other releases.
For those with the Iconic Edition, F1 25 launches on May 27 at 8 am PT/10 am CT/11 am ET/4 pm BST, which is 1 am AEST on May 28 for those down under.
Exactly three days later, the standard edition of the game becomes playable on May 30 at the same time. Again, those down under will have the release in the early hours of the following day.
As the release schedule is global, you won’t be able to take advantage of the popular New Zealand trick to jump the queue and, instead, will have to remain patient until the above times.
Does F1 25 Have Early Access?
Yes, F1 25 offers early access in two ways—including one approach where you don’t even need to purchase the game.
For full early access, three days before the standard release, the Iconic Edition must be purchased. Alongside the early access, this edition offers other bonuses such as F1 75 Celebration Livery and other cosmetic items.
Alternatively, EA Play membership provides a five-hour trial of F1 25 from May 27, which doesn’t require a full purchase of the game. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, EA Play membership is included.
