Elden Ring has hit yet another major sales milestone. Developer FromSoftware announced on Monday that the game has surpassed 30 million copies sold since its February 2022 release.
This update comes after it was announced back in December that the game had hit 28.6 million copies sold.
“Dearest Tarnished, we are profoundly thankful for your lasting devotion,” the post reads. “May your path be forever guided by the Grace of Gold.”

First release on February 25, 2022, Elden Ring has become one of the highest-rated games of the last decade. On Open Critic, the game has a top critic average of 95 with a player rating of 100. And even with the recent sales figures slowing down a bit, overal sales for Elden Ring may not be close to finished. It was announced as part of the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal on April 2 that the game will be coming to Nintendo’s newest console as well.
In addition to the original Elden Ring, a spin-off game co-op game called Elden Ring Nightreign is scheduled to launch on May 30. Recently, that game’s final PC specs were announced as the final push towards launch picks up steam.
