Microsoft has revealed many extra games coming to Xbox Game Pass, and the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 reboot from 2022 is one of the biggest additions you can play.
What do you do when Modern Warfare reaches a point of finality? You do it all over again! That’s what Activision did in 2019 when it released the first Modern Warfare reboot. Modern Warfare 2 followed in 2022, and it became the fastest-selling CoD in history at the time.
Now, it joins Xbox Game Pass, making it free to subscribers—joining the 2009 version of MW2 on Game Pass. It’s not alone, though; a range of other software will be added between now and the end of May.
Modern Warfare 2 Reboot & GTA 5 Coming to Xbox Game Pass
2022’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 arrives on Xbox Game Pass from May 1. Grand Theft Auto 5 is available on Game Pass right now, and the much-anticipated RPG Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is a day-one Game Pass drop from April 24.
As always, it’s a varied selection of titles across a myriad of genres. We have AAA blockbusters, day-one Game Pass benefits, and retro rewinds in Far Cry 4.
