Xbox Insiders have received a brand new update, introducing cross-device play history and easier access for cloud-playable console games on PC.
Xbox recently released its aggregated libraries update for Insiders, which allows players to launch games from Xbox, Game Pass, Battle.net, and other leading PC storefronts from a single library within the Xbox PC app. The new update builds on the existing one by adding a play history feature and easier access to cloud-playable console games.
Xbox Insiders Now Have Access to Cross-Device Play History and a New Filter on the PC App
With the new update, it doesn’t matter whether you’re on console, PC, or a Windows handheld; Xbox Insiders will find their play history at the end of the “Jump back in” list on the Home screen. The large tile will still display the last game played by the current device’s user, whereas the new play history tile will show games played across any Xbox device, allowing players to quickly jump back in.
The next addition to this Xbox Insider update is the cloud-playable filter, which allows players to view all available cloud-playable console games. The collection includes “even console exclusives spanning from the original Xbox to Xbox Series X|S, whether you own the title or access it through Game Pass.”
In other news, 200 King Staff were laid off at Xbox and will be replaced by AI, according to an internal memo. Also check out the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 titles for July 2025. Let us know through the official Insider Gaming forums discussion.
