WW1 Gallipoli Gets New Release Date and Launch Discount

BlackMill Games has announced a new release date for WW1 Gallipoli, and the title will receive a 25% launch discount.

Insider Gaming had the opportunity to preview the latest installment of the WW1 series from BlackMill Games at Gamescom 2025, where we said, “BlackMill Games is clearly cooking up another classic.” Now, the latest announcement indicates that the game is set for release sooner than anticipated.

WW1 Gallipoli Devs Announce New August Release Date

WW1 Gallipoli was originally scheduled for release on May 21, 2026, but the developers postponed the launch to make final improvements to the game. Today, a new release date was announced along with a fresh trailer, and the game will now be released on August 20, 2026. Additionally, there will be a 25% launch discount, bringing the price to €29.99 / $29.99 / £24.99 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will also feature full crossplay functionality.

In WW1 Gallipoli, players will be transported to the Ottoman Front, where they will experience intense 25v25 squad-based battles between the British Empire and Ottoman forces. These battles will take place across diverse terrains, including beaches, towns, and deserts. Players can choose from ten historically inspired classes, such as Officer, Heavy Machine Gunner, Sniper, and Stretcher Bearer, among others. Additionally, players will have access to around 50 authentic weapons and pieces of equipment from both the Ottoman and British arsenals.
