During Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, it was announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was being remastered. Preliminary specs for Windows systems to run the forthcoming remaster have now been revealed.

Fans of The Witcher are eating well lately, as not only was this remaster announced, but also the Songs of the Past expansion for the game. This expansion will bridge the gap between The Witcher 3 and the upcoming Witcher 4.

- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600

- Memory: 12 GB
- Storage: 70 GB SSD

- Operating System:64-bit Windows 11

This will be a major overhaul of the original game, free for all owners, launching on September 29.
