With the upcoming Summer Game Fest featuring exclusive news and reveals from the likes of Xbox, Ubisoft, Nintendo, Devolver, and others, we’re left wondering about Sony. They fully intend to host their usual State of Play; it’s just a matter of when. So, here’s what we know about the PlayStation showcase this summer!

When Does the PlayStation State of Play Take Place?

We know now that PlayStation State of Play will take place on May 30! The entire show begins at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET and will feature a 30-minute broadcast with 14 titles across PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2, with showings from various PlayStation Studios.

It doesn’t surprise us that Sony wants to host its showcase before everyone else, especially considering that Xbox will showcase its upcoming titles during Summer Game Fest in June.

What Games Will We See at the PlayStation State of Play?

There is no official confirmation about the numerous upcoming games we’ll see at the PlayStation Showcase. However, rumors indicate the following titles will make an appearance:

  • Concord
  • LEGO Horizon Adventures
  • Astro Bot
  • God of War Ragnarok (PC)
  • Destiny 2: The Final Shape
  • Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail

Furthermore, we’re pretty sure there’s something new coming from one or more first-party studios over at PlayStation. Sony desperately wants to maintain its lead in the gaming space, and a new reveal or two could help cement its position!
