When is the Assassin’s Creed Shadows Release Date?

We all know it’s coming. Assassin’s Creed is one franchise that Ubisoft won’t toss aside, at least not yet, though they are splitting the community between stealth and RPG mechanics. Either way, we have multiple new AC projects on the way. The closest one is Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Here’s what we know about the Assassin’s Creed Shadows release date!

When Does Assassin’s Creed Shadows Release?

The official release date for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is November 15, and you can pre-order the game right now via the Ubisoft Store for $69.99. We’ll learn more about it at the upcoming reveal at Ubisoft Forward this summer, which should feature additional story and gameplay elements.

There are three versions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows coming in November, including:

    • Pre-Order Bonus
  • Gold Edition: $109.99

  • Ultimate Edition: $129.99

What is Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the upcoming mainline series entry, following in the footsteps of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. It’s less about the stealth gameplay, though that will take a significant role in the overall gameplay, as it did in past entries, and more about exploration in the open world and RPG mechanics, like in recent titles. It appears Ubisoft intends to split the franchise down the middle, with both genres to appease both types of players.

As a fan of the more RPG-centric Assassin’s Creed titles, I’m excited to play one set in Feudal Japan finally. However, I genuinely hope the stealth-focused crowd receives one up to their standards soon enough. But hey, maybe Assassin’s Creed Shadows will merge the best of both worlds to be the one entry we all desire!

Either way, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is said to feature an expansive world, challenging yet rewarding combat, base-building mechanics, and two protagonists: Naoe and Yasuke. You’re likely not a samurai, however. Instead, we’ll most likely play as a ninja or Ronin.

When is the Assassin’s Creed Shadows Reveal?

I’ve always wanted a massive open-world action-adventure game set in Feudal Japan. Sure, there’s Ghost of Tsushima coming soon to PC, but that’s engrossing—if you know what I mean. It’s nice to have a popcorn game set in a land I would love to explore, like recent Assassin’s Creed titles. That’s part of why I’m—like […]

By default, crossplay features are enabled on Modern Warfare 3. They allow you to play the competitive first-person shooter across all systems, with PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players in the same lobby. Some players don’t like this feature, though. How to Get Bot Lobbies in Warzone

I completely understand why you would want to land in bot lobbies in Warzone. Sometimes, despite your overall skill level, you want to kick back and relax. A little practice never hurt anyone, right? Here is how to accomplish this feat, though you might encounter a player or two along the way, so be wary […]
