Game Informer has secured one hell of a sweep and has prepared a monumental 14-page marathon centered around the impending release of Grand Theft Auto 6. This makes up the cover story for Game Informer’s next magazine, and that’s the case whether you consume it digitally or physically, but there’s something important to bear in mind…
The cover story will come hand-in-hand with new screenshots, exclusive gameplay details, and some interview material, but when does Game Informer release? The magazine (Issue 382) is set to land on September 29, but what time does it go live? The digital version releases first.
Here’s everything we know.
How to Get Game Informer’s GTA 6 Edition
If you want first access to Game Informer’s GTA 6 issue, which is officially Issue 382, you’ll need to get it digitally. That means you’ll need to acquire a digital subscription from the site, which will unlock access to the GTA 6 magazine the moment it drops.
To get a digital subscription, you’ll need to spend around $65, which gets you an annual pass to Game Informer’s upcoming editions. If you want both a physical and digital edition, it’s around $99 a year.
That’s ten editions per year, and of course, that includes the GTA 6 magazine.
What Time Does Game Informer Release?
If you’re waiting for the physical version of the Game Informer magazine, for collector purposes, you’ll need to wait for a release date that lands ‘in the coming weeks.’ This is also when it’ll arrive in bookstores and on newsstands all over the place (most notably in North America, but available in 50 countries worldwide).
To make things tougher, this is a limited-time issue, and people will be going nuts trying to get their hands on the GTA 6 Game Informer magazine, so you might be out of luck faster than you thought.
As for the first-access digital version of Issue 382, you can expect it to be delivered around the following time:
- 10 AM – 1 PM ET
- 7 AM – 10 AM PT
- 3 PM – 6 PM BST
- 4 PM – 7 PM CEST
It’s hard to provide an exact time, but at the time of writing, barely 12 hours remained until the drop. Exciting stuff!
