What Time Does Pokémon Champions Season 2 Start?

The very first ranked season of Pokémon Champions, Season M-1, concludes on May 13, 2026, at 01:59 UTC (May 12, 21:59 EDT/ 19:00 PDT).

At the time of writing, there is just one day left for Singles and Doubles players to climb the ladder to receive better ranked rewards.

Following that, Pokémon Champions Season M-2 will begin with a fully reset ranked ladder and a brand new battle pass.

Pokémon Champions Season M-2 Global Release Times

Pokémon Champions Season M-2 will begin as soon as M-1 ends, though the game will undergo a three-hour maintenance first.

The season will then last just over a month, concluding on June 17.

This means the second season will begin at the following times.

  • Central European Summer Time (CEST) – 08:00 May 13
  • Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) – 23:00 May 12

Will There Be New Pokémon in Pokémon Champions Season M-2?

Pokémon Champions Season M-2 is part of Regulation Set M-A, so it will have the same rules as Season M-1.

Therefore, there will not be any new Pokémon and likely no new items in the second season.

New Pokémon will be added come the release of Season M-3 and Regulation Set M-B on June 17.

However, Season M-2 will bring a new Premium Battle Pass with Gengar, Skarmory, and Kanghaskhan as well as 48 Quick Coupons and 10,000 Victory Points (VP).

The rewards for the first ranked season of Pokémon Champions will be as follows:

  • Champion Tier
    • Rank 1 — 20,000 VP
  • Master Ball Tier
    • Rank 1 — 15,000 VP
    • Rank 2-4 — 10,000 VP
  • Ultra Ball Tier
    • Rank 1-2 — 8,000 VP
    • Rank 3-4 — 6,000 VP
  • Great Ball Tier
    • Rank 1-2 — 4,000 VP
    • Rank 3-4 — 2,000 VP
  • Poké Ball Tier
    • Rank 1-2 — 1,000 VP
    • Rank 3-4 — 500 VP
