Australian residents are now available to download Warzone Mobile on Google Play ahead of its launch.
The game, which is believed to be 5.8GB in size is fully integrated with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. Players will be able to rank up on either platform, share weapon progression, the same Battle Pass, and the same Store Bundles.
Pre-registrations for Warzone Mobile suggest that the game will release on May 15, 2023, but the Australian rollout is for the region to play the game in “beta”.
Activision hasn’t yet given an official release date on Warzone Mobile in Australia, but several rumors have suggested that the game could be playable tomorrow, November 30.
Images shared by the Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL show that the game shares the same UI menu as Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
How to Play Warzone Mobile
If you’re not from Australia, no problem. You can still change your Google Play account to be located in Australia if you want to play.
To create the account, you’ll need a VPN and connect to Australia. Then head over to the Google Play Store and create a new account.
You can skip the step where the Play Store asks you if you want to add a phone number. Then finish setting up the account.
Then, you should be able to download Warzone Mobile, but be sure to keep your VPN on to play the game when the servers are live.
