An image of Warzone 2’s new “Vondel” map has leaked online by dataminers. Unfortunately, the map image is low resolution and untextured for the most part, but Insider Gaming understands that the map is far into development and will release during Season 4 of Warzone 2.
Activision is currently in the process of DMCA striking anyone who uploads the images to Twitter.
Unfortunately, Insider Gaming was unable to verify if the map will release on Season 4’s launch or Season 4 Reloaded.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Vondel though, in mid-April, dataminers dug up references to the map, which is reportedly going to be set in the Netherlands.
As for when the map will officially be announced remains to be seen, but rumors suggest that the map is going to be a Resurgence map – Which is a smaller map with a smaller amount of players. It’s expected to be the last Warzone 2 map before the release of Call of Duty 2023, which is being developed by Sledgehammer Games.
