Information on UFC 6 is scarce in the early days, but a bit of digging here and there goes a long way. The UFC 6 Xbox Store Page has information on editions and prices, but crucially, Xbox Store Pages have a ton of labels that apply to the game.
One of them clearly states: ‘Xbox cross-platform multiplayer.’
Why Is Crossplay So Important For UFC 6?
UFC 6 having crossplay and cross-platform play is a big deal because it means speedier matchmaking and means you’ll have a better chance of finding an opponent more local to you, improving overall connection and gameplay stability.
Put simply, if UFC 6 didn’t have crossplay, it would mean your console can only be paired with and play with players on the same console. This reduces the number of users you can matchmake with, which can cause the system to start looking further around the world for a match.
