Neverness to Everness has now finally been released worldwide, bringing millions of players into a brand-new adventure, but playing with friends in multiplayer cannot be done immediately.
Having attracted over 35 million pre-registrations in the build-up to launch, Neverness to Everness is well placed to make a huge impact on the Gacha gaming scene, following on from the likes of Genshin Impact.
If you’re diving into Neverness to Everness and want to know how to play with friends in multiplayer, Insider Gaming has all the details.
How to Play With Friends in Neverness to Everness

Multiplayer and co-op in Neverness to Everness are only available after completing the in-game tutorial, and the feature is locked prior to this point.
The tutorial of Neverness to Everness takes around 25-30 minutes to complete, so it doesn’t take a huge amount of focus. Once that has been ticked off, the process is relatively easy.

Before you invite friends, however, it’s worth making a note of your player ID, which can be found in your account overview, as this is what’s required to search for specific players.
Additionally, you need to ensure you are set to the same server region as the players you want to play with, as players are restricted to only playing with those in the same region. You can change your region, but it may result in lag and longer loading times.
When you’ve passed the tutorial and unlocked multiplayer, here are the specific steps to follow.
- Open your in-game phone.
- Navigate to the second page of ‘apps’.
- Select the ‘Multiplayer’ icon.
- Enter the UID of the player you want to invite.
- Click the player you wish to invite.
