BREAKING: Ubisoft Winnipeg Closed, Dozens Layed Off

Ubisoft is closing another studio. Insider Gaming has learned that Ubisoft Winnipeg has been shut down, leading to dozens of layoffs.

Details of the shutdown are currently slim, but it’s believed that roughly 85 employees are losing their jobs.

It’s also impacting several in-development projects at Ubisoft, as well as other studios across the company. One team also impacted is Ubisoft Montreal.

Insider Gaming has reached out to Ubisoft for comment on the layoffs.
