The Witcher: Legacy is a stunning new addition to the fantasy-themed universe, and it arrives in perfect time to plug a gap between The Witcher 3’s Songs of the Past DLC and The Witcher 4, slated to launch in 2028. But owing to the nature of the game, it could wind up costing you a whopping $500, or thereabouts.
The Witcher: Legacy is a gorgeous TTRPG with an incredible amount of meat on the bones. It’s a crowdfunded thing that has managed to secure the finances necessary to launch next summer, and some of the editions are quite simply mind-blowing with how much they promise to include.
New Witcher TTRPG Lands Next Year
The Witcher: Legacy has managed to raise a remarkable $15 million from more than 32,000 backers on Gamefound, and you can still pledge right now. It’s a TTRPG that accommodates one to four players, boasting an average play time of just under three hours per go-around.
The project has been secured, but you can still participate in the ‘late pledge’ phase, registering your pre-order alongside 30,000 gamers eager to explore this new perspective of one of the most incredible fantasy universes ever concocted.
It’s easy to see why the project has been such a rampant success. The imagery and sales blurb on Gamefound are nothing short of spectacular. The Witcher: Legacy has a main story that spans almost 50 hours, and the developers have said it takes more than 100 hours to uncover everything.
It has been translated (or will be translated) into multiple languages, and it even features an ‘endgame mode’ that encourages players to explore a dynamic sandbox that effectively provides unlimited entertainment value.
It even comes with an immersive narration app that provides ‘professional voiceover’ for free.

At the lowest end of the spectrum when it comes to game tiers, you can secure the Core Pledge (Standard Version) for €109, which comes with the base version of the game.
At the opposite end of the scale, you’ll need to drop €480 on the Shaded (I Want It All) version, which is absolutely ludicrous… In a great way. It comes with an enormous stack of miniatures (ready to paint), hundreds of cards and tokens, all expansions, a higher-quality set, an artbook, a journal, exclusive collector’s items, books, unique gameplay elements… It’s unreal.
