New Sales Milestone Revealed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
According to CD Projekt Group’s latest earnings, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has hit a new sales milestone, selling 65 million copies. The title has cemented itself in the list of the top 10 best-selling games of all time. Last year, the game had sold 60 million copies and has now jumped by 5 million in the span of a year. The number will seemingly keep increasing as time goes on, especially once the third expansion, Songs of the Past, arrives in 2027.

A statement by the CFO reveals that there was a solid revenue stream in the first 3 months of the year, most of which came from Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, along with their addition to Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate. The dev team is also increasing, adding 42 more developers across various projects between February and April 2026.
In other news, The Witcher 3 will get a new set of minimum PC system requirements due to the Songs of the Past expansion.
