Battle Royales have been quite popular for some time now. The “Hunger Games” style of gameplay quickly became a favorite in the late 2010s, when the majority of big Battle Royale games were released. So many games have added their own twist to the genre, making each title incredibly unique.
So, which Battle Royale games stand out from the others?
Battle Royales: Which Games are the Best?
Battle Royales are a style of video game where players fight until the last one standing. The majority of titles begin each match with people jumping out of some type of flying vehicle (Planes, Battle Bus, etc.), and players have to land somewhere on the map and explore for loot.
No one starts out with any weapons in Battle Royales, making the style of the game heavily RNG-based.
Here is a list of the top five best Battle Royale games.
5. H1Z1
Z1 Battle Royale (part of H1Z1) was one of the first Battle Royale games to gain traction. The game might not have been perfect, but its style of gameplay easily won the hearts of many gamers. Battle Royales were fairly new at this point, making H1Z1 a fresh breath of air for gamers.
4. Fall Guys
You cannot have a list of the best Battle Royales without including Fall Guys. Fall Guys quickly took the gaming world by storm with its unique twist on the style of video games. Instead of being a shooter style of Battle Royale, Fall Guys featured various mini-games, which players would be knocked out of as they moved forward.
Think Mario Party, but Battle Royale style. This was the first of its kind, making it easily one of the best Battle Royale games to have been released.

3. Apex Legends
Apex Legends stands as one of the most popular Battle Royales to date. The game brought a Titanfall style of gameplay (both games were developed by Respawn Entertainment), and every player had to play as a specific operator.
