The Steam Machine’s price has been revealed, along with what’s included in the package.
Players have been receiving various teasers over the past few months about the Steam Machine, all signaling the new system’s arrival in 2026. Players have now been provided with the price, what’s included, and the different bundle types they can grab when purchasing the new system.
Steam Machine Starting Price Set at $1049
A new blog post from Valve reveals the prices of the Steam Machine across different variants and how players can purchase it. There are four options available for purchase: a 512 GB model, a 512 GB model bundled with a Steam Controller, a 2 TB model, and a 2 TB model bundled with a Steam Controller. Both 2 TB variants feature two additional faceplates: red fabric and solid walnut. Check out the prices for the different Steam Machine storage options and bundles below:
- Steam Machine 512GB: $1,049 USD/1,509 CAD/1,039 EUR/879 GBP/1,609 AUD/4,389 PLN
- Steam Machine 512GB + Steam Controller: $1,128 USD/1,628 CAD/1,108 EUR/938 GBP/1,728 AUD/4,698 PLN
- Steam Machine 2TB: $1,349 USD/1,919 CAD/ 1,359 EUR/1,149 GBP/2,109 AUD/5,739 PLN

How to purchase a Steam Machine?
To order the Steam Machine, players must sign up for the model they are interested in before Thursday, June 25tJune 25a.m. Pacific. On that date, they will conduct a one-time randomization to determine the reservation and waitlist order. Once the process is over, players will receive one of two emails: first, stating that they have been added to the reservation queue and that they will receive a shipment once units are available. The other email states that they have been added to the waitlist and will be notified when more units become available. The first batch of Steam Machine deliveries starts going out on June 29.
