The Outlast Trials is Coming to Consoles

The Outlast Trials has been leaked online to be coming to consoles courtesy of the Xbox store page.

The new listing on the Xbox store pages lists “The Outlast Trials Deluxe Edition” for $49.99 and releases 3/5/2024.

It’s assumed that an official announcement will be made at The Game Awards, and it’s currently unclear if the game will be coming to the PlayStation 5 (update to follow).

Developed and published by Red Barrels, the game was first released on May 18, 2023, on PC. It is the third installment in the Outlast series, serving as a prequel to the first two games and features test subjects in a mysterious Cold War experiment.

“Set in the era of the Cold War, human guinea pigs are involuntarily recruited by the good folks at the Murkoff Corporation to test advanced methods of brainwashing and mind control. In a world of distrust, fear, and violence, your morals will be challenged, your endurance tested, and your sanity crushed. All in the name of progress, science, and profit”, the official game description reads.
